MARBLE CAKE



INGREDIENTS -
Maida                                                      1cup
Milkmaid/ condensed milk               1cup 
Sugar                                                       3 tbsp.
Butter                                                      1/4 cup 
Oil                                                             2tbsp.
Vanilla essence                                      1tsp.
Cocoa powder                                       2tbsp 
Milk                                                         as required 
Baking powder                                      1   1/4 tsp 
Baking soda                                            1/2 tsp
Salt                                                           a pinch 
Curd                                                         2tbsp

METHOD  -


  1.   Preheat the oven at 180 degree celsius.
  2.   Sieve the maida,baking powder,baking soda three times in a separate bowl.
  3.   Mix milkmaid,butter with a egg beater or  hand beater.
  4.   Add sugar,oil,vanilla essence and salt.
  5.   Beat this mixture with beater. Then add curd to it.
  6.   Add cocoa powder and milk in a separate bowl to make smooth batter.
  7.   Grease the cake tin with butter and dust it with maida.
  8.   Mix the dry ingredients with milkmaid batter.
  9.   Add milk as required to make smooth batter.
  10.   Add some better to cocoa mixture.
  11.   First put some normal batter in the tin ,then add some cocoa better and then normal batter.
  12.   Tap the tin slightly on the top.
  13.   Bake this in the microwave convection mode at lower rack for 30-40 minutes.
  14.   Allow them to cool for 2-3 hours.
  15.   Garnish with icing . 
FOR PRESSURE COOKER 
  • In a pressure cooker , pour 1 packet salt and a ring or stand.
  • Heat the cooker,covered the lid without wishtle,for 3-4 minutes on high heat.
  • Then place the cake tin on stand.
  • Close the lid( without whistle) ,lower the flame and let it cook for 40-45 minutes or until done.
  • Reuse the salt for later baking.
