MIRCHI BADA
Ingredients

For stuffing
Moti green chilli       6
boiled potato            2-3
salt                           1/2 tsp
amchur                     1/2 tsp
haldi                         1/4 tsp
ajwain                      1/2 tsp
dhania powder         1/2 tsp
red chilli powder     1/2 tsp
coriander chopped   1 tbsp

For batter
basen                     1 cup
hing                        2 pinch
salt                         1/2 tsp
red chilli powder   1/2 tsp
baking soda           a pinch
oil                            for frying

Method

  1. With a knife slit each chilli from one side. Remove the seeds and the pith. Keep aside.
  2. Boiled the potatoes in a pressure cooker.Peel them and mash them.
  3. Add salt,amchur,haldi,ajwain dhania powder,red chilli powder and chopped coriander in the mashed potato.Mix it well.
  4. Now stuff the potato mixture in the green chillies.Keep aside.
  5. In a bowl take basen,add hing ,salt,red chilli powder and baking soda .
  6. Add water to make thick batter.Beat the batter till light and white.
  7. Dip the stuffed chilli in the batter. Coat it very well with batter.
  8. Now deep fry them in medium hot oil till golden in colour.
  9. Remove the mirchi bada on paper napkin to remove excess oil.
  10. Serve these mirchi bada with tomato sauce,imli chutney and coriander chutney.
