COCONUT CHUTNEY

Ingredients 

fresh coconut       1 cup (grated)
green coriander   2 tbsp
curd                        2tbsp
green chili             2
sendha Salt           to taste
oil                           1tsp
musturd seeds     1/2 tsp
curry leaves         8-10

Method

  1. Take grated coconut in a mixer jar, add chopped green chili and curd.
  2. Also add 2 to 3 tbsp water and grind to prepare a finely textured chutney.
  3. Take a small pan and heat 1 to 2 tsp oil in it. When the oil is hot splatter musturd seeds.
  4. When the seeds turn little brown, reduce the flame and add curry leaves to it. 
  5. Turn off the flame. Tempering is ready, pour it over  the chutney and mix well
  6. Coconut chutney is ready, transfer it to a bowl and serve with idli.
