COCONUT CHUTNEY
Ingredients
fresh coconut 1 cup (grated)
green coriander 2 tbsp
curd 2tbsp
green chili 2
sendha Salt to taste
oil 1tsp
musturd seeds 1/2 tsp
curry leaves 8-10
Method
- Take grated coconut in a mixer jar, add chopped green chili and curd.
- Also add 2 to 3 tbsp water and grind to prepare a finely textured chutney.
- Take a small pan and heat 1 to 2 tsp oil in it. When the oil is hot splatter musturd seeds.
- When the seeds turn little brown, reduce the flame and add curry leaves to it.
- Turn off the flame. Tempering is ready, pour it over the chutney and mix well
- Coconut chutney is ready, transfer it to a bowl and serve with idli.
