For cone
maida 1 cup
suji.     1 tbsp
ghee.   1 tsp
salt.      to taste
oil.        for frying

For chat
boiled chana.           1/2 cup
boiled potato            1/2 cup
onion chopped          2 tbsp
tomato chopped        2 tbsp
coriander chopped    1 tbsp
lemon juice                  1 tsp
chat masala                 1/2 tsp
bhuna jeera                  1/4 tsp
salt                                 to taste
thick curd.                     1/2 cup
imli chutney                   1/2 cup

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients of cone in a bowl,make a stiff dough using water as required.Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll it into a chapati,using little flour for rolling.
  3. Using a knife,cut into thin long strips.
  4. Take a cone shape small glass or mould,roll these strips around the cone like a coil,starting from the pointed end towards the broader end,till the entire cone is uniformly covered with the strips.
  5. Seal well to ensure that it doesn't open.
  6. Heat oil in a deep kadahi and deep fry the cones till they turn golden brown in colour.
  7. Drain on absorbent paper.
  8. Once the cones have colled a bit,shake the cone mould.Keep the cone aside .
  9. Mix the chat ingredients in a bowl except chutney and curd.
  10. Fill the cone with chat ,top it with chutney and curd.
  11. Decorate it with sev.
  12. Serve immediately
