VANILLA NUT CAKE

Ingredients

maida.                 11/2 cup
powdered sugar  3/4 cup
baking soda         1/4 tsp
baking powder    1 tsp
oil.                        1/2 cup
dahi.                    3/4 cup
milk.                     1/4 cup
vanilla essence   1 tsp
mixed nuts.         1/2 cup

Method

  1. Sieve the maida,baking powder and baking soda 2-3 times.
  2. Grease the cake tin with oil and maida.Keep aside.
  3. In a bowl mix powdered sugar,dahi, oil,milk and vanilla essence.
  4. Fold the maida and mixed nuts into the mixture to combine well.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the greased tin,shake gently to level off the mixture.
  6. Top  the mixture with some chopped nuts .
  7. Bake in a pre- heated oven at 180C for about 30-35 minutes.
