STUFFED POORIES

flour (atta). 1 cup
maida. 1/4 cup
urad dal. 4 tbsp
oil. 2 tsp
salt. 1 tsp
red chilli 1 tsp
ajwain. 1/4 tsp
hing 1/4 tsp

Method
- Soak the urad dal for 2-3 hours in 1 cup water.
- Mix maida ,atta ,1/2 tsp salt and oil in a big parat or bowl.
- Knead little stiff dough with water and keep aside.
- Grind the dal in mixer with little water if necessary.
- Then mix red chilli,ajwain and hing in dal mixture .
- Take a small portion of dough,lemon size in your hand and press a little with wet hands and spread a pinch of salt and 1 tsp dal mixture and roll again like ball and flat it with hands like poories.
- Heat oil in a kadahi,fry the poories by pressing it with frying spoon till golden brown from both sides.
- Drain these poories on tissue paper.
- Serve poories with aloo sabzi and pickle.
