SPROUTS PULAO

Ingredients
Basmati rice        1 cup
mixed sprouts.     1 cup
oil.                       3 tbsp
onion sliced         2 small
ginger chopped    1"
laung                    4-5
chotti elaichi        3
dalchini                2 pieces
bay leaf                1-2
lemon juice          1 tbsp
salt                       11/2 tsp
green chilli        b  1-2
tomatoes              1
coriander.            1/4 cup

Method

  1. Soak the rice for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a kadahi.Add laung,chotti elaichi,dalchini,bay leaves and sliced onion.
  3. Fry till brown,add ginger.Saute till tender and pink.
  4. Add sprouts ,half salt and chillies. Saute for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Cover the kadahi with lid, cook for 8-10 minutes with  little water till the sprouts are tender.
  6. Add soaked rice,2 cup water and remaining salt.
  7. Cook till rice done .
  8. Garnish with coriander and tomato cubes.
