HARE BHARE KOFTA

Ingredients

Palak Gravy
palak stemless chopped      1 bunch
onion.                                  1
tomato                                 2
green chilli                          2-3
garlic flakes.                       5-6
ginger chopped.                  1"
cashew.                                5
salt.                                     1 tsp
red chilli powder                1/2 tsp
oil                                       3 tbsp
milk.                                   3/4 cup
malai or cream.                  1/4 cup
garam masala.                    1/4 tsp
cornflour.                           1 tsp

Palak Kofta
palak stemless                   250 gms
paneer crumbled               125 gms
green chilli                        1-2
cornflour                           2 tsp
salt                                     to taste
maida.                                2 tbsp
bread slices.                       2

Method

  1. For Kofta ,boil palak for 5 minutes and chopped .
  2. Churn the bread slices in mixer.
  3. Squeeze the palak well. Mix palak ,green chilli, paneer, bread crumbs, cornflour and salt.
  4. Make small size balls. Roll it in maida and fry in hot oil and keep aside.
  5. For gravy, boil palak,cashews,chilli,ginger and garlic for 5 minutes in little water.
  6. Cool this mixture and blend in mixer to make a smooth paste.
  7. Heat oil in a kadahi,add chopped onion and fry for 2-3 minutes and then add chopped tomatoes.
  8. Then add palak paste,salt,chilli powder and garam masala and boil it.
  9. Mix cornflour in milk and add to the gravy and give 2-3 boils.
  10. Add cream or malai ,mix well and add koftas in it .
  11. Add 1 tbsp butter while serving.
