BESAN LADOO

Ingredients
Besan.                    1cup
Sugar powdered   1/2 cup
Ghee.                    1/2 cup
Powdered elaichi  1/2 tsp
Almonds chopped 1/4 cup

Method

  1. In a heavy kadahi, melt ghee and add besan. 
  2. Stir fry over low flame and roast until the basen turns aromatic.It also begins to turn dark golden in colour. Stir it continuously otherwise the flour may get burnt.
  3. At this stage ,the ghee will start to ooze out and it will not be lumpy any more.
  4. Remove the pan from the gas and cool it for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Then add the powdered sugar,elaichi powder and almonds.
  6. Mix this mixture well so that all the ingredients mix.
  7. Take small portions and roll to balls.
  8. Your ladoos are ready and store it in a air tight jar.
If you want aromatic flavour then add 1/4 cup malai with ghee.
