GARLIC BREAD

Ingredients
For dough
maida.              1/2 cup
instant yeast     3/4 tsp
warm water     1/2 cup
sugar.              2 tsp
salt.                 1/2 tsp
garlic powder  1/2 tsp

For filling
sweet corn                                       1/2 cup
mozzarella cheese                           1/2 cup
chilli flakes                                     1 tsp
origano                                            1 tsp
garlic powder or garlic crushed      3-4 tsp
salt.                                                 1 tsp
oil.                                                  2 tsp

Method

  1. In a bowl dissolve sugar in warm water and add yeast and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Knead the soft dough with garlic powder ,salt and fermented yeast.
  3. Knead the dough for 4-5 minutes and add oil and knead the dough for 1 minute.
  4. Keep aside for 1 hour so that the dough become double.
  5. After 1 hour sprinkle some maida and punch the dough so that extra air in dough released.
  6. Divide the dough in two equal parts and roll with belan like chapati .
  7. Spread the cheese on half of the chapati and sprinkle some garlic powder and origano on it.
  8. Then spread some sweet corn and chilli flakes.
  9. Apply some water on sides of chapati and fold it into half and press the sides with fingers so that the edges are sealed.
  10. Brush the top with butter and sprinkle some garlic powder ,mixed herbs and chilli flakes.
  11. Then place the dough in baking tray and make marks in top layer with knife in 1 inches distance without cutting them fully.
  12. Bake in pre heated oven at 180 degree celcius for 15 minutes.
  13. Cut the garlic bread into pieces and serve.
