AMLA  MURABBA

Ingredients
amla.    500 gms
sugar    21/2 cup or 500 gms

Method

  1. Wash the amlas thoroughly .
  2. Boil plenty of water in a pan,add the amlas and boil for 10 minutes over a high flame. Drain and keep aside.
  3. Put the amlas in a bowl and add the sugar and 1/2 cup of water.
  4. Cook it on a slow flame and bring a boil in it.
  5. Keep it aside for 1 day.
  6. Next day again boil it and keep aside.
  7. Repeat it for 2-3 days,so that the amlas soak in the syrup completely.
  8. Allow it to cool completely.
  9. Bottle in a sterilised jar. Store for upto 1 year at room temperature.
