AMLA CANDY
Ingredients
Amla        25
sugar        2tbsp powdered +1/2 cup

Method

  1.  wash the amla well.
  2. take a vessel with enough water to immerse amla completely into it .
  3. Boil water and cook the amla for 2-3 minutes until it turns tender.
  4. Drain out the excess water and cool down completely.
  5. With hand break it and discard its seed.
  6. Place the amla edges in a glass bowl and add the sugar.Cover the bowl and keep aside for 3 days so that the sugar melts completely and the amla absorbs the sugar completely.
  7. After 3 days,strain out the amla through a sieve.Spread them on a plate and place it on under the sun for 2 days so that it get dried completely.
  8. Don't dry it too much or else it will turn hard.
  9. Add powdered sugar in the dried candy.Mix it well.Amla candy is ready.
  10. If you want sweet and sour candy then add black salt,black peeper powder to it.
