HEALTHY CHIVDA

Ingredients

puffed cereals      3 cup
cornflakes            1 cup
raw peanuts          2 tbsp
rai.                        1/2 tsp
green chilli           1-2
curry leaves         15-16
roasted chana dal 1/4 cup
hing.                     1/4 tsp
haldi.                    1/4 tsp
powdered sugar    1 tbsp
oil.                         2 tsp
salt.                        to taste

Method
  1. Roast the puffed cereals like whole wheat,jowar,bajra and rice with crushed corn flakes and peanuts in a non-stick pan,stirring occasionally till crisp.
  2. Heat oil in the pan, add mustard seeds,chopped green chilli,curry leaves and roasted chana dal and stir.
  3. When the seeds crackle,add hing and haldi and mix well.
  4. Add the roasted puffed cereals,cornflakes,peanuts,sugar and salt and mix well.
  5. Cool and store in an air-tight jar.
