Ingredients -
Milkmaid. 1/2 tin
Butter. 1/2 cup
Maida. 1 cup
Baking powder. 1tsp
Baking soda. 1/4 tsp
Soda bi-carb. 1/4 tsp
Vanilla essence. 1/2 tsp
Walnut broken. 1/2 cup
Dry dates. 250 gms
Water 1 cup
Method -
1. Remove dates seeds and chop them.
2. Add 1 cup water and 1/4 tsp soda bi-carb and soak them for 4-5 hours.
3. Sieve maida,Baking powder,baking soda 2-3 times.
4. Mix dates and walnut to maida.
5. Beat Milkmaid and butter.
6. Add maida and mix well.
7. Pour it in a greased baking tin.
8. Bake this in a preheated oven at 150 degrees celcius for 45 minutes.
